VisionMES Offers Quicker Inventory Processing

     VisionMES™ (Manufacturing Execution System) is a barcode data entry tool for ERP system users. It allows companies to combine some traditional plant floor activities with handheld-device functionality. Plant activities such as recording a physical inventory count, making material transfers among bins or even physical locations, performing the receipt of incoming Purchase Order lines, or issuing material against Jobs or Accounts all become easier to capture because the person performing the actual work uses the handheld interface to electronically record transactions as they are happening.

     The VisionMES product allows you to track your inventory as it moves throughout your enterprise by offering better inventory visibility and control. Through the use of barcode scanning using stationary or portable devices, wired or wireless equipment, users can quickly process inventory transactions as they complete the activity on the shop floor. Enhancements

VisionView, our enterprise information system and data analysis tool that gives you access to operational data from within JOBSCOPE, allows you the ability to quickly drill down to source transactions and view them in summary or detail. VisionView has been modified to include some functionality suggested by our customers.
 

ProjectView has been enhanced to include more search and export capabilities. The “Show PO” button has been added to allow you to drill-down to the PO level within ProjectView.
 

GLView now includes security that limits which General Ledger account numbers users may access.
 

Import Job Budgets allows you to upload your budget spreadsheet into JOBSCOPE.
