American Crane & Equipment Corporation (ACECO) is a privately held international material handling company located in Southeastern Pennsylvania, USA. American Crane is recognized as a leader in the design and manufacture of electric overhead traveling cranes and wire rope hoists, offering equipment for a wide variety of applications up to 300 ton capacity.

American Crane has been using Jobscope ERP software for a few years. ACECO chose Vision Business Solutions (VBS) to implement their latest version of Jobscope Enterprise.

Karen Norheim, Director of Marketing/IT said, "We chose to work with VBS because of their experience in implementations and their knowledge of Jobscope."

VBS evaluated the system ACECO was using and provided insight on ways to make the installation easier. Norheim continues, "We had a very old system which need to be upgraded as well as process and company procedure that need to be evaluated. ACECO is using Jobscope from estimating through job costing to help better run engineered-to-order manufacturing. VBS provided training and consulting services to ACECO. Norheim stated, "VBS helped us understand how the software works and consulted us on making the right choices for our system."

ACECO has seen process and reporting improvements in purchasing and job costing. Norheim concludes, "Because VBS is professional and committed, they continue to provide comprehensive assistance to the implementation of Jobscope from pre-install to ongoing support."
